Completed my sweep-age of long distance events at the sch sports day, after a surprising 3rd at 800m finals today. 2 bronze 1 silver.
I suddenly got the urge to train for 800m and planning to run for the track-n-field nationals in July. I wasn't feeling very tired after the run today and feel that I could push more. Let see how will it turn out.

Lets talk about the nationals first. I ran an official timing of 16:00:15. Personal best but was kinda disappointed with it. Could have done better though :(
Yield so far at schools track and field meet was 1 bronze and 1 silver from 1500m and 5000m respectively. Hopefully to win something from the 800m finals tomorrow, undoubtedly the last competitive single event I will be running in JJ.
Thought that you left before the start of the 5km race but you still turned up.. doubt that you are there watching me but i am still really glad you are there =)

16.53 Thats my unofficial timing for 4.5km run at the 57th SAA National Cross-Country. One of the worst race that I have ran. Firstly, the route was pretty horrible for a start - lots of gravel, mud, slippery ground. Secondly, my mental wasn't there and couldn't push myself harder which ended overtaken a couple of times at the road pavement. Lastly, I got backstabbed a few meters behind the finishing line by a NJC student.
To you: I remember your face. I swear I gonna win you at the Nationals.. by a large margin.
